Your Privacy
Persian ID is a dream come true for people of Persian origins – anywhere in the world - who wish to meet and share information, ideas and news about themselves and issues of interest to them. This privacy policy is in place to acknowledge how Persian ID deals with users’ personal information collected and received by Persian ID. Personal information referred to here is defined as information about you that is personally identifiable like name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
General
Your personal information will be collected when you register at Persian ID, when you sign in and when you visit our advertisers’ pages. Once you register on Persian ID, information about you will make you identifiable for us and our partners. Our site will automatically receive information from your browser and record them on our server.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You must not disclose your password to any third party. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account.

Use of Information
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. Persian ID will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. Communication will take place through your email address you provided us while registering on Persian ID.
Persian ID reserves the right to send you certain communications relating to the Persian ID service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your Persian ID account, without offering you the opportunity to choose not to receive them.
The profile information and photos you submit to Persian ID Personals section will be displayed to people who view your profile. Your profile and photos can also be viewed by members of communities you join. If you wish to keep a photo private to be viewed by your friends’ list only, you have the option of making each photo for public or private viewing.
When you invite new users into your friends list or send messages through Persian ID, we collect and maintain information associated with those messages, including email addresses and content.
When inviting friends to join the site you may enter their email addresses. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. We do not store any of your friend's email addresses if they decline your invitation and do not join the site.
We use your name and email address to notify you of new messages, send your invitations to join another user’s friends list, testimonials or other information.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Persian ID does not rent, sell, or share your personal information with other people or nonaffiliated companies except when we have your permission, or under these circumstances:
· Providing the information to trusted partners to work on behalf of Persian ID under strict confidentiality agreements. These companies will only use your personal information to help Persian ID communicate with you. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information with any person or company.
· Responding to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
· Sharing information for the purpose of investigating, preventing, or taking action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Persian ID's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
· Transferring your information if Persian ID is acquired by or merged with another company. In this case, Persian ID will notify you before information about you are transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Persian ID may store and access cookies on your computer. Persian ID’s advertisers may also store and access their cookies on your computer. Doing this allows the ad network to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad networks may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows advertisers to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not Persian ID’s. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Persian ID's cookies.
